The Firefighter Challenge United States National Championship is coming to Erie Sept. 23-26 in Perry Square. Admission for the event is FREE! 

Firefighters from aross the country will take on a demanding course that includes climbing, hose handling, forcible entry, rescue simulations, and other tasks designed to mirror real life emergency scenarios. ESPN has named this event the "toughest two minutes in sports."

The Firefighter Challenge League (FCL) is the first official sporting league of its kind designed exclusively for junior, explorer, cadet, rookie, veteran, retired, volunteer, military, or career firefighters, fire departments, and firefighter training centers interested in our exciting competition style programs.

Wednesday Sept. 23: Open practice @ 7 a.m.

Thursday Sept. 24: Open practice @ 7 a.m., Tandem Team Category Title Championship @ 1 p.m.

Friday Sept. 25: Open practice @ 7 a.m., Relay Category Championship Event Pennsylvania Fire Service Showdown integrated @ 8 a.m., Awards @ 6: 30 p.m.

Saturday sept. 26: Open Ceremony @ 8:30 a.m., Individual Category Championship Title Finale @ 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
