Live Music at Flagship City District

Are you like me, still with a bag of salt sitting in your garage? Do me a favor—be like your favorite Disney Princess, Elsa, and LET IT GO. IT’S SPRING! We’ve got some great plans in the works and we want to give you a head start to the excitement.

Think about the last time you visited a downtown environment (but not Downtown Erie). You probably enjoyed great food, strolled along vibrant sidewalks, and you also most likely heard music pouring out of restaurants and businesses.

This summer, we are dedicated to creating a similar atmosphere right here in Downtown Erie by partnering with our local businesses to create fantastic live music opportunities that you can’t find anywhere else in Erie County. Today, I am thrilled to announce two brand-new live music settings in Downtown Erie: 429 State Alley Parties and Luminary Cocktails & Bottle Shop Patio Shows.

429 State Alley Parties

You may not believe it, but this venue takes place in a trash alley. WAIT... it’s not what you think. We take this trash alley and transform it into a great place for food, drink, and music. Edison lights are strung between the historic brick walls, the smelly dumpsters are pushed off-site, Luminary sets up a tent to sell their beverages, and a Food Hall kitchen will be there to take orders for some food. Did we just take a trash alley and turn it into a sick live music spot? You bet we did.

WHERE: Alleyway next to 10 East 5th Street in Downtown Erie

WHEN: 6-8PM on select Friday nights

Luminary Cocktails & Bottle Shop Patio Shows

Just down the sidewalk from the famous Flagship City Food Hall is a charming bottle shop owned and operated by the iconic and talented folks of Luminary Distilling. This shop is proudly called Luminary Cocktails & Bottle Shop. This is the place where you get to have a familiar Luminary experience but in an urban setting.

This summer, the drinks will be cold, the company will be great, and the music will be plentiful. Appropriately called the Patio Shows, these live music acts will occur outside on the sidewalk next to Luminary, encouraging guests to pour out onto the sidewalk.

WHERE: Luminary Cocktails & Bottle Shop at 36 North Park Row in Downtown Erie

WHEN: 6-8PM on select Saturday nights

And guess what? This is only half of what is still yet to be announced. In addition to all of this fantastic live music, Flagship City Food Hall will still be hosting live music every Wednesday, and the Erie Downtown Partnership will be hosting live music every Thursday on Perry Square.

We hope you get a chance to come out to Downtown Erie and experience something entirely new this Summer!
